The Turku Printmakers’ Summer Exhibition
Piirtäjän puutarha – Tecknarens trädgård
on view at Galleria Joella from July 4 to July 28, 2024.
All members of the association were invited to take part in the exhibition, resulting in a delightfully diverse display of printmaking and drawing from the Southwest Finland region.
For The Draughtsman’s Garden, the participating artists have selected works from their own collections Both recent and from years past. The result is a garden that is at once wild and exotic, yet intimately delicate and atmospheric. As you wander among the works, you might almost hear a parrot’s screech or a tiger’s roar or even the hum of a mosquito.
All artworks in the summer exhibition are for sale and best of all, they can be taken home immediately upon purchase. This means the exhibition is constantly evolving, as new works replace those that have been sold. It’s worth visiting more than once!
